Their Hexagonal Head allows for a great amount of torque to be applied to this screw making them ideal in heavy duty applications. Hexagon Bolts are partially threaded and have a section of plain unthreaded shaft below their head, whereas Hexagon Setscrews have a fully threaded shaft. These Fine Pitch Hexagon Bolts are made from High Tensile Steel, and coated in a Bright Zinc Plating which provides a level of corrosion and oxidation resistance.
